I have a well respected nutritional expert here in my community who has taught me the importance of balancing good protein, healthy fats, veggies & fruits into my diet.  Here is a list of foods that I eat and some suggestions to get you started.  I lead a very busy lifestyle just like many of you.  In your kitchen you must get your pantry and fridge clean and organized. Planning and preparation is key.  I eliminated many foods from my pantry and fridge in order for me to be successful. As you will see from the list below most items come from the perimeter of the grocery store.
 
PROTEIN:
Serving: 3 to 6 oz. or 20-36 gram

Entertaining & Dining Out:
 
In the past I went out to dinner 5-6 days a week and always had people in my home entertaining.  Now I have reduced that down to 1-2 times a week and now going out is a much more special occasion than a way of life.  I always ask questions how foods are cooked and prepared.  I will always choose at the restaurant from the food guide above.  I still entertain but not as much and when we are invited to a party I make the best choice possible and in the event I am not able I always have an Isagenix shake or bar on hand.
